Is Slidebase a product or a service?

Both, really. There's a self-serve app you sign into — you upload your brand, pick your plan and create briefs there — and behind it a real design team that builds your system and reviews every deck. So it's a product you drive and a service that delivers. What makes it different from a normal studio is the setup: before your first deck we build a presentation design system around your brand, and that system is what lets us ship on-brand work in 24 hours instead of two weeks.

What happens after I sign up?

You go straight into the app — no call required. Create your account, upload your brand (logo, fonts, colors, guidelines, example decks) and drop your first brief. We build your design system within 48 hours, then every brief you add comes back as a finished deck in 24 hours. You pick your plan and volume in the app whenever you're ready.

What exactly do you build during setup?

A presentation design system, built around your brand. It has three parts: a brand-brain (your guidelines, voice rules, layout principles and content patterns, written down and encoded), a master deck system (the reusable sections, layouts and components every future deck snaps together from), and a feedback loop (every revision becomes a rule the system remembers). It's why decks ship in 24 hours and still look like you.

What happens during setup?

Setup takes 48 hours at most. It starts the moment you sign up and upload your brand assets in the app — no kickoff call needed. Then we encode your brand (voice rules, layout principles, chart styles, content patterns) and build your master deck system. It closes with a calibration deck, the first ten or so slides on a real brief, plus a feedback round and sign-off. From there, every brief turns into a finished deck in 24 hours.

How is this different from using ChatGPT, Gamma, Tome or other AI deck tools?

Those tools can produce a decent draft, and we won't pretend otherwise. What they can't do is hold your brand consistently across two hundred slides, tell you which story will land in the room, or take responsibility for the result. We build the design system that makes on-brand output repeatable, and a designer checks every deck before it reaches you. You get the speed without babysitting the output.

Who actually reviews my decks?

Accepted Answer

The designers who built your system. A design lead with agency and in-house experience, supported by a small bench of presentation specialists covering typography, charts and motion. No juniors, no ticket-shop, no offshore handover.

How fast is fast, really?

Accepted Answer

48 hours from signup to your first finished deck, at most. From there, 24 hours per deck is the target, and most decks land inside it. Larger projects (keynotes, master templates, IR reports) take longer and we tell you upfront. The clock starts when the brief is in, not when we get back from lunch.

What if the first round isn't right?

Accepted Answer

Every deck includes two rounds of revision, no questions. Each revision feeds your design system: the fix becomes a rule the next deck inherits, so the same issue doesn't come back. If after two rounds the deck still isn't where you want it, we redo it for free or refund the brief.

Question 9

What happens when our brand evolves?

Accepted Answer

Tell us. We update your design system in place: new voice rules, refreshed visual language, retired patterns. The system versions with you, so you don't end up with a binder of beautiful but obsolete decks. Major rebrands are a scoped project; small evolutions are part of the loop.

Which formats do you deliver in?

Accepted Answer

Native PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides, whichever your team uses. PDF take-home variants on request. We design in Figma for fidelity and export to your format.

Do you work in German?

Accepted Answer

Ja. We deliver decks in English, German or both, including IR reports with EN/DE variants in parallel. Our German typesetting handles compound words, hyphenation and number formatting properly.

Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?

Yes. We sign your standard mutual NDA before any briefs go in, and we operate under standard EU DPAs for GDPR compliance. German legal entity, EU servers.
